The design included an identifier, save the date flier, pull-up banner, and social media cards, based upon content and imagery supplied by the client.

Photoshoot for UN Visitor Centre by John Gillespie

UN Visitor Centre photoshoot

Photoshoot undertaken for the UN Visitor Centre in conjunction with a rebrand by colleagues in the UN Graphic Design Unit.

The shoot consisted of taking photos of tour guides wearing costumes from their country of origin, in front of the UN Secretariat in New York.

The Children and Armed Conflict 20th anniversary booklet won an award in the GDUSA Inhouse Design Awards 2017.

The campaign was an initiative of the United Nations Secretary-General to combat xenophobia, launched at the United Nations General Assembly High-Level Meeting on Refugees and Migrants, 2016.

Based around a unique slogan each year ? ?One humanity? ? the brand was designed in all six official UN languages, and applied to numerous collateral including social media, event mailers and invitations, a series of pop-up banners, t-shirts, and posters.

The brand needed to maintain consistency with the existing parent ?World Humanitarian Day? brand.

The brand was applied to numerous collateral including a gate banner and press kit folder for a collaborative annual multi-stakeholder forum on science, technology and innovation (STI) staged at United Nations Headquarters in June 2016.
