UN Library publishes first e-book

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the United Nations (UN75), the UN Dag Hammarskjöld Library is presenting an exploration of 75 key documents that have shaped the United Nations and our world. The documents honour the historic breadth of the Organisation’s work in the areas of peace and security, humanitarian assistance, development, and human rights.

With promotional graphics for social media channels and a static HTML micro-site designed and developed by myself, 75 Milestones in International Cooperation chronicles pivotal moments that shaped the history of the United Nations and our world in the last 75 years. The Library’s selection tracks the history of the creation of the United Nations in 1945 and traverses until the UN’s call for global unity to fight COVID-19 in 2020. It highlights the context of historical occasions that have influenced international relations and led to remarkable changes in the lives of the people around the world.

A design for the cover of the e-book was also produced. The document and the work designed to promote it can be viewed here.
