John Gillespie, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Ziad al-Kadri

With UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and UN Graphic Design Unit Chief Ziad Al-Kadri attending the UNEARTH exhibition at The Gabarron, New York, featuring a selection of work by United Nations designers and photographers.

In 2015 the United Nations will celebrate its 70th anniversary. To mark this momentous and auspicious occasion, we propose a public presentation of some of the organization?s rarely-seen and wide-encompassing collection of films and videos, campaign posters and photographs in galleries in New York and elsewhere. This exhibition, co-organized by the Gabarron Foundation and the United Nations through its Department of Public Information, will celebrate the UN through its vast iconographic archives and will travel the world until 2015 being exhibited at different museum and art centers.
